Since 2012, I have participated in the annual support of Lavori di Maturità (LaM), which are one-year thesis projects for high school students in collaboration with the Faculty of Informatics at USI and the Liceo cantonale di Lugano 2 (LiLu2). Each year, researchers and PhD students mentor students on informatics-related projects, helping them develop skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, web development, and simulation modeling. This initiative encourages young talents to pursue studies in technical and scientific fields and provides them with valuable guidance and feedback throughout the year-long project.
